Thirty-five years of paving the Hudson Valley, with the owner on the job
Pisa Paving, Inc. is a paving and masonry contractor based at 3024 US-9 in Cold Spring, New York. We build asphalt driveways, parking lots and roads, and the stone walls, patios, aprons and drainage that go with them, for homeowners and businesses across seven New York counties and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Fernando and the crew
Pisa Paving is run by Fernando Correia, who has been paving and building stonework in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties for more than 35 years. Our customers' reviews describe the same thing job after job: Fernando gives the estimate himself, keeps in touch while the work is scheduled, and checks the site in person while the crew is working.
The crew runs our own trucks, paver and rollers, and handles excavation, drainage, asphalt and masonry, so a project that needs a driveway, an apron, a wall and a walkway is one schedule with one contractor.

What every job gets
A written proposal
Scope, price and timing in writing before we start, and changes discussed and agreed in writing. A customer put it best: “Price was more than reasonable with no extra at end of job.”
Base and drainage first
Compacted item #4 stone under everything we pave or set, and water routed away from the pavement and the house.
Patience when the ground needs it
Fresh fill settles. When a driveway is rebuilt over new fill we wait for it, as one Google reviewer noted, so the asphalt doesn't sink later.
Masonry that matches
Belgian block aprons, stone pillars, walls, steps and patios done by our own masons, so the whole entrance is built to the same standard.
