Drainage and Excavation That Sends Water Where It Belongs
Most pavement failures and wet basements start with water that has nowhere to go. We regrade, install drains and build the site work that keeps driveways, lots and foundations dry.
What goes into our drainage & excavation
French drains and dry wells
Perforated pipe in a gravel trench, wrapped in geotextile fabric so it doesn't clog, routed to daylight or a dry well.
Catch basins and trench drains
At garage doors, driveway low points and parking lot corners.
Regrading
Reshaping the ground so it slopes away from the house, the lot or the driveway.
Excavation and site prep
Excavation for driveways, patios, walls, pools and additions with our own equipment.
The process
Find the water
We look at where it comes from, where it pools and where it can go.
Trench
12–36 inches deep depending on the pipe and slope, with a gravel bed.
Pipe and fabric
Perforated pipe placed holes-down, covered with gravel and geotextile fabric.
Backfill and finish
Gravel or soil backfill, then pavement, lawn or stone restored over the top.
Drainage & Excavation FAQ
Water pools at the bottom of my driveway. What fixes it?
Usually a trench drain across the driveway or a catch basin at the low point, tied to a pipe that runs to daylight or a dry well. Sometimes the fix is regrading the driveway itself during a repaving.
Can you stop water from getting into my basement?
Often, yes, by regrading, adding drainage along the foundation, or sealing where the water enters. One of our customers had us out the same day for exactly that.
Do you do excavation for other contractors?
Yes. We excavate for pools, additions, patios and site work.
